1. About this website
The 12:31 Project is a family-led community initiative inspired by Mark 12:31. This website shares our mission, neighbor stories when permission is given, ways to help, nomination information, partnership opportunities, and support or merchandise options as they become available.
2. Nominations are requests, not promises
Submitting a nomination does not guarantee that a person or project will be selected. We may consider factors such as location, safety, resources, timing, project fit, available partners, and what our family can realistically take on well.
Please submit information truthfully and respectfully. Do not impersonate another person or knowingly submit false, harassing, exploitative, or unlawful information.
3. Consent and storytelling
No nomination, donation, sponsorship, or act of service automatically grants permission to photograph, film, identify, or publish a neighbor’s story. Public storytelling is subject to the person’s direct permission and any additional safeguards we believe are appropriate.
We may choose not to publish a project at all, even if help is provided.
4. Safety and project decisions
We may decline, pause, modify, or stop a proposed project when we believe doing so is necessary for safety, privacy, feasibility, legal concerns, mission fit, or the well-being of anyone involved.
Information on this site is general and is not professional medical, legal, financial, construction, counseling, or emergency advice.
5. Contributions and support
The 12:31 Project is currently presented as a family-led community project. Unless we specifically state otherwise at the time of a contribution, contributions should not be assumed to be tax-deductible.
When giving is activated, we will explain the intended use of support in plain language. Contributions may support approved neighbor-project materials, practical needs, and reasonable project-related costs. See the Support page for current details.
6. Merchandise
When merchandise becomes available, purchases will be subject to the checkout provider’s payment, shipping, return, and fulfillment terms in addition to any policies we publish. Unless clearly stated otherwise, buying merchandise is a purchase and should not be treated as a charitable donation.
7. Partnerships
A partnership inquiry does not create a partnership, sponsorship agreement, endorsement, or obligation. Any actual collaboration may require separate written terms. The neighbor’s need and dignity come before brand exposure or content deliverables.
8. Website content and intellectual property
Unless otherwise noted, The 12:31 Project name, logo, original website text, graphics, photographs, videos, and project materials are owned by or used with permission by The 12:31 Project. Please do not reproduce or sell branded materials without permission.
You are welcome to share public website links and public social posts using the platform’s normal sharing tools.

10. No guarantee of uninterrupted access
We may update, change, pause, or remove parts of this site at any time. We cannot guarantee that the website or every feature will always be available or error-free.
