Mark 12:31 says, “Love your neighbor as yourself.” We want to make those words tangible — with our time, our hands, our skills, and whatever else we can bring to the need right in front of us.
Starting small. Learning as we go. Hoping kindness catches on. ♡

A little note from us
We don’t think love has to be complicated.

Sometimes loving your neighbor looks like painting a room, patching a wall, assembling a bed, clearing a yard, helping a teacher, dropping off what’s needed, or simply showing up when someone could use an extra set of hands.
We’re not trying to fix everything. We just want to notice the person in front of us, do what we can, and invite other people to do the same.
That’s really what The 12:31 Project is.

No giant production. No perfect formula. Just practical help, offered with dignity.

Time, skills, supplies, creativity — and, as this grows, other neighbors and partners who want to help.

The story keeps moving.
We share what happened so someone else might look around and think, “I could do that too.”
