We’re a family learning to live out Mark 12:31 in a more intentional way — not just by talking about loving our neighbors, but by looking for practical ways to actually do it.
We’re learning to live this out right alongside you.
The 12:31 Project isn’t a faceless organization to us. It started in our home, around our kids, with one question: what would it look like to make loving our neighbor part of our family’s everyday life?
We’re not experts at this. We’re just choosing to notice more, show up when we can, and let our children see what practical kindness looks like up close.
Start with the people already around you.
We don’t have to solve every problem to make a difference. Sometimes it’s one wall that needs patching. One room that needs painting. One yard that feels impossible to tackle alone. One family that could use a few extra hands.
We want generosity to feel normal in our home — something our kids grow up seeing, participating in, and carrying with them.
So we’re starting with what we have and the neighbor in front of us.

This is a family project. We want our children to learn that kindness can be practical, joyful, and part of everyday life.

Our hope is that every story makes someone else notice a need, offer a skill, or show up for a person close to home.
