Nominate a Neighbor

Who came to mind?

Maybe it’s a family having a hard season. A teacher who gives everything to everyone else. A neighbor with a project they can’t tackle alone. If someone came to mind, we want to hear about them.

Before you submit

Tell us the story — not every private detail.

We only need enough to understand the person, the need, and why you thought of them. Please don’t include a full home address, medical records, financial information, or anything you wouldn’t want shared about yourself.

Dignity comes first.
If a nomination becomes a project, we’ll talk with the person directly before any work, photos, filming, or public storytelling happens.

Nominations are opening soon.

We’re finishing the secure submission setup now. This is the exact information we’ll ask for once the form goes live.

Submitting a nomination will never guarantee selection. We’re a family-led project, so we’ll begin small and choose projects based on fit, location, resources, safety, and what we can realistically take on well.
What happens next?

Nothing happens behind their back.

A nomination is simply an introduction. If we think we may be able to help, we’ll take it one respectful step at a time.

01

We read it.

We’ll look at the need, location, timing, safety, and whether it fits what our family and community can realistically take on.

02

We contact you first.

If it seems like a possible fit, we’ll reach back out to the person who submitted the nomination before contacting the neighbor.

03

They get a choice.

The neighbor decides whether they want help and what, if anything, they’re comfortable sharing. A yes to help is never automatically a yes to being content.
